Langstroth Hive

This is the most widely used hive internationally; being used commercially and by hobbyists throughout the world.  These hives measure 412mm by 508mm externally and are top bee space. 

The complete hive comprises; Standard floor with entrance block, standard brood body containing 10 Hoffman self-spacing frames and foundation, framed wire queen excluder, one super containing 10 Hoffman self-spacing frames and foundation, Crownboard with two Porter bee escapes and a 4" metal covered roof.
